The two important event that happend are the wolf could now eat because Tao had took of the bone in the wolf's gums
and he was about to see a evil spirit or he was about to encounter a preditor.
HomeWork(10-05-06 )
1) Tao and ram learned how to hunt.
2) Tao decided he is going to hunt alone.
1) I think Tao is a lazy boy. He is also irrresponsible about the animal he catches, when the time he caught
a rabbit and left it on the slough.I feel Taos decissions are sometimes foolish or sometimes good but mostly foolish
such as when he ask if the hunters could use a wolf dog as a help when the hunters are hunting.
Chapter 8
The situation is a guy is really smart and has a talent of art.And his father wanted him to him to go to college but he wanted to go to an art college. But he had the right to go to art school. He also has the right to follow his dream.

1) Maybe Graybear felt bad about Tao and also Tao had dreamed to become a cave painter.
2) It tells me that Graybear is not mean after all. It also tells me that he is thoughtfull and nice and cares about Tao.
Chapter 11
I think Graybear is a good teacher because he had helped Tao improve.
I would want Graybear to teach me because he is a really good teacher.

Father of Silk Road
Who would travel thousands of mile just to trade? Well, Zhang Qian (Father of Silk Road) does. I will tell you the different routes he took, about him and more.
First of all let’s talk about the development of the Silk Road, though it was helpful it caused some problems for the Han ruler in China. Soon bandits learnt of goods traveling to Gansu Corridor and avoiding the Taklimakan, and took benefit of the terrain to steal these caravans.
His routes were very long, it was estimated that it was 1 to 5 thousand miles and overall, the two trips he made was estimated to be more than ten thousand miles. His routes were different, one was on road/rail way, the other one is sea. On the routes they use camel to carry the things they are going to trade, and they just walk beside them. They trade rare stones for strong horses.
The Father of Silk Road (Zhang Qian) is been captured as hostage on the 1st journey. He was held for ten years and finally escaped. On his 2nd journey he had 300 men with him and 10 thousand sheep to traded. This one was from China to Persia. The Father of Silk Road soon died in 113 B.C.
Now let’s talk about how he was named the Father of Silk Road. The Han emperor, Wudi, needed allies to guard against the danger from the strong nearby neighbor. He had heard of a strong and rich state to the west. It took a long time for news to travel to Xi’an of countries as far as India. There has been no official contract, so in 119 B.C. that’s when emperor Wudi sent Zhang Qian to build an alliance.
In my conclusion Zhang Qian (Father of Silk Road) has traveled many countries such as Persia to trade goods for his country. He had to incredible journeys. He died in 113 B.C. but nobody will forget the things he did.
